About CAFA, Inc.
This information was last updated on August 8, 2010
CAFA is in its eleventh year of offering quality fine arts teaching to children from kindergarten to twelfth grade. The desire to begin this organization started when the funding for fine arts programs in the Daytona Beach area was cut. Many children were unable to learn about music, acting or any other arts. Homeschoolers were added to this mix soon after because of their inability to get this training from local public schools.

This is the “mission statement” for CAFA, May 2009
Johann Sebastian Bach ”The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.” CAFA is committed to giving every child, with no child left behind the opportunity to explore and foster their musical talents for the glory of God and the refreshment of their souls.A need for the growth of fine arts in the Daytona Beach area still exists . As CAFA grows, so does their need for more funding and equipment. CAFA charges $5 a week for instruction but hardly relies on that money. No child is turned away, if they truly wish to learn.
Currently, CAFA is in need of two more harps, 12 violins, 10 guitars and $10,000 worth of Orff instruments. This year, it wishes to receive enough funds through a matching grant to purchase two buses and build a gymnatorium as an addition to the church.
