This is the “mission statement” for CAFA: Johann Sebastian Bach ”The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.” CAFA is committed to giving every child, with no child left behind the opportunity to explore and foster their musical talents for the glory of God and the refreshment of their souls.
A need for the growth of fine arts in the Daytona Beach area still exists . As CAFA grows, so does their need for more funding and equipment. CAFA charges $10 a week for instruction but hardly relies on that money. No child is turned away, if they truly wish to learn.
Currently, CAFA is in need of two more harps, 12 violins, 10 guitars and $10,000 worth of Orff instruments.
